How is a Body Wash Bar different from regular bar soap?

Our Body Wash Bar is a true soap made via saponification — the same process as traditional bars — but formulated with premium plant-based oils (Sunflower, Coconut, Castor) and Shea Butter for a deeply moisturizing, skin-loving result. The key difference from most commercial bar soaps: we retain all the naturally-occurring glycerin produced during the saponification process. Most brands extract and sell their glycerin separately, leaving their bars drying. Ours keeps it in, so your skin stays hydrated after every wash.

Will it dry out my skin?

No — quite the opposite. The formula is designed to be deeply cleansing yet genuinely moisturizing. Shea Butter, Sunflower Seed Oil, Coconut Oil, and retained glycerin all work together to nourish the skin barrier rather than strip it. If you have very dry skin, we’d recommend Coconut Milk or Wildflower — our two most moisturizing variants — and store the bar on a soap dish so it stays firm and lasts longer.

How long does the bar last?

On average, our Body Wash Bars last approximately 2 months — making the cost per wash as low as $0.18. How long your bar lasts depends on usage frequency and storage. The most important factor is keeping it dry between uses: store on a draining Soap Dish, or our Sisal Soap Saver Bag to prevent the bar from sitting in water.

Coconut Milk and Wildflower are our most moisturizing variants. Coconut Milk contains Coconut Milk Powder with natural anti-inflammatory properties, and Wildflower contains Calendula Petals that repair and protect dry, chapped skin. Both pair beautifully with Shea Butter as the base.

Can I use the Body Wash Bar on my face?

The bars are formulated for the body, not the face. The pH of true soap (around 9–10) is higher than the skin’s natural pH (4.5–5.5) and can disrupt the facial skin barrier over time, especially for those with acne-prone or sensitive skin.

Is the formula vegan and cruelty-free?

Yes — all Body Wash Bar variants are 100% vegan and cruelty-free. All scent comes from pure essential oils. The bars are free from artificial fragrances, artificial dyes, sulfates, silicones, parabens, and phthalates. The packaging is plastic-free, made with 100% recycled paperboard.

Is it safe for sensitive skin?
