Most Common Technique
Step 1:
Wet your hair and the shampoo bar.
Step 2:
Gently rub the bar directly onto your scalp and hair. You can try a circular motion, or run it along your hair in a combing or “painting” motion.
Step 3:
Massage the lather throughout your scalp, just as you would with liquid shampoo, then rinse.
If you prefer not to rub the bar directly on your hair or scalp, you can also try a different method…
Alternate Technique
Step 1:
Rub the wet shampoo bar between your hands to build up a lather.
Step 2:
Using your fingers like a comb, work the lather into your wet hair.
Step 3:
Massage the lather throughout your scalp, then rinse.
A sisal soap saver bag is another great way to work up some extra lather in your hands.
Step 1:
Wet the conditioner bar.
Step 2:
“Paint” the bar on your hair, starting at the ends and moving upward towards the scalp.
Step 3:
When you can run your fingers through your hair, you will know that the conditioner is fully applied. You can rinse now, or let the conditioner sit for a few minutes before rinsing.
Step 1:
Slowly twist and pull the cap off.
Step 2:
Part hair and gently dispense dry shampoo to the roots and scalp.
Step 3:
Massage and brush to blend into your hair.
Store your shampoo and conditioner bars on a soap dish, just as you would a regular bar of soap! Soap dishes help bars dry off faster, prolonging their life.
We recommend periodically washing your soap dish with warm soapy water, letting it fully air dry, then putting it back into rotation.
