What is an antioxidant (or a Vitamin C) serum? Why do I need one?

Antioxidants (or Vitamin C) are actually one of the top five recommended daily skincare products from estheticians and dermatologists. They’re undeniably crucial in your daily routine!
Antioxidants are a group of naturally occurring or man-made compounds that protect or delay your cells from damage. They offer the sustainable protection and preservation of your skin for the long-term.
You may be familiar with Vitamin C for brightening and evening skin tone – which is, in fact, an antioxidant ingredient. Vitamin E is another common antioxidant that you may see listed in your serums.
Our Daily Antioxidant Serum contains TEN total antioxidants in the formula. It also boasts a beautiful, natural orange tint to it which is actually created by our hero ingredient, astaxanthin.
It may sound a little strange, but astaxanthin is derived sustainably from microalgae and is the strongest antioxidant vitamin in nature. Astaxanthin is actually 550X more potent than standard Vitamin E. For this reason, we call it a super antioxidant. And while it’s undeniably strong, it’s still a gentle ingredient. Astaxanthin can be used daily, and daily use will help you get the most from the product.
Our serum also contains hyaluronic acid, which restores elasticity and hydration in the skin. As you can see, the serum really does it all: brightening, protecting, and restoring hydration!
